As Executive Vice President Production, for BBC Studios in Los Angeles, Debby Reid Vigna supervises all areas of the television production business including development, physical production, creative, operations, finance, legal and post production. As part of the executive team for BBC Studios, Vigna plays a key role in managing the strategy of development and production of original IP as well as bringing BBC Studios UK formats to the US market. She has produced over 33 unscripted series for multiple broadcast and cable networks for the studio including 18 seasons of Dancing With the Stars, 7 seasons of Top Gear, 4 seasons of What Not to Wear and 7 seasons of Life Below Zero. Vigna works closely with BBC’s invested Indie production companies in the UK and plays a key role developing investment models for US investment.
Prior to joining BBC Studios, Vigna served as SVP for GRB Entertainment for 14 years. At GRB, Vigna produced over 1,200 primetime hours of unscripted programming including the series Intervention (A&E), Next Action Star (NBC) and Growing Up Gotti (A&E) along with numerous other weekly series, specials, blue-chip documentaries and primetime strips for over a dozen different Broadcast and Cable networks including NBC, Fox, A&E, Discovery, TLC, Fox Family, CMT, Court TV, VHI, Spike, Animal Planet, Discovery Health, Nat Geo and more.
Ms. Vigna has produced and managed series based outside of LA (over 300 episodes) which include the cities of; Berlin, London, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Anchorage, Cleveland, New York and Nashville.
Debby Reid Vigna started her career in non-fiction television in 1989 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television & Broadcasting from California State University, Northridge.
